From this theory, therefore, which was based on FNAF 1 through Sister Location (i.e. Yes I know other fans have their own theories, I tend to stay away from Tumblr and Reddit so I don’t know the exact details, however with FNAF’s creator Scott Cawthon having commended this particular theory as being the closest yet I choose to go by at as a baseline. Now, if you aren’t aware of the FNAF timeline, or would like a refresher, I’d advise you watch The Game Theorists’ two-part ‘final theory’ from a month ago (due to my limited package on this site I don’t seem able to post the actual video links here unfortunately). This also means that I’ve been watching a lot of Game Theory on the subject as well, and having revisited some of MatPat’s latest posits on the timeline of these games, my mind has been riddled with questions about the remaining hanging threads within the lore. With FNAF 6 having come out a few weeks ago, along with me having just finished reading the first book based on the franchise, ‘The Silver Eyes’, the long thought-upon story of haunted animatronics has been on my mind once more. The game franchise which either has people still fascinated, bored or none-the-wiser.
